College of FET, Mulgrave Street Campus we were delighted to launch our FET Taster Series last week. This new and innovative FET Taster Series has been created especially for second level schools.
The mission of this series is to give second level students an insight to the value, importance, relevance and excitement of our Further Education and Training Courses here at the college. The series is geared towards TY’s, along with LCA, fifth and sixth year students. Students from Thomond College joined us on our first morning and experienced our Hairdressing and our Beauty Therapy taster programmes.

On our FET Taster Series, participants can experience first-hand, through practical, interactive sessions just how much you can benefit from a PLC course.
Offering a practical and interactive insight into a college course, gives second level students the power to make informed and relevant decisions as to their future.
Further Education and Training is designed to be part of a person’s life-long education and many benefit from using their time in FET to explore a subject or to use a pathway to a degree course.
Here at College of FET – Mulgrave St Campus, we are looking forward to working with second level schools through the mid-west region and to strengthening our working relationships with them.
