COURSE DESCRIPTION
• Template drawings, lines & polylines,
Associative dimensions & hatch patterns
• Paper & model space and switch between
the two views, variables & commands when
drawing up
• Produce detailed drawings for the
architectural and civil/structural
engineering industries to include the
drawing and editing of blocks, layers and
templates
• Dimensioning and hatching functions /
attaching linear and angular dimensions,
dimension diameters, radii & centres
to drawings, specified tolerances and
appropriate hatch patterns
• Utilise drawing display and plotting / views
of a drawing, appropriate scale factors &
alignments and varying line widths and
colours
• System requirements & configuration of
CAD to include running software, aligning
the screen & menus, making & managing
directories and creating a range of template
or prototype drawing files
