Programme Description
In Collaboration with Mother Macs and Limerick Whiskey Experience
This course is intended for beginners and enthusiasts who wish to gain a greater knowledge of Irish Whiskey and an Introduction to World Whiskeys.
This course is a blended delivery over 8 weeks consisting of a class-based theory, and offsite tasting sessions. Learners will be advised on:
- Principle of Whiskey Production
- History of Irish Whiskey
- Understanding the main categories of Irish Whiskey
- An Introduction to Scottish & World Whiskey
- The principle & Technique of Whiskey tasting
- Practical tasting sessions (2 sessions)
- A Tuath Whiskey tasting glass
