In Collaboration with Mother Macs and Limerick Whiskey Experience

This course is intended for beginners and enthusiasts who wish to gain a greater knowledge of Irish Whiskey and an Introduction to World Whiskeys.

This course is a blended delivery over 8 weeks consisting of a class-based theory, and offsite tasting sessions. Learners will be advised on: 

  • Principle of Whiskey Production
  • History of Irish Whiskey
  • Understanding the main categories of Irish Whiskey
  • An Introduction to Scottish & World Whiskey
  • The principle & Technique of Whiskey tasting
  • Practical tasting sessions (2 sessions) 
  • A Tuath Whiskey tasting glass
